Te Papa Matariki Calendar 2006-07
Te Papa Store.
Produced to celebrate the Māori New Year, the Matariki calendar runs from June 2006 to May 2007. It pays to respect our ancestors, honours their knowledge, and is our koha back to them.
Unique to New Zealand, the calendar is based on traditional knowledge of the seasonal cycle. It takes a holistic look at our natural world and our place in it. Each month is illustrated with stunning images appropriate to the season and interpreted in both te reo Māori and English.
Te Maramataka a te Waka Toi (2005-06)
