Examination Dates

Oral exams      Wednesday    21 May                  8 – 12 o'clock               Wellington

Written             Wednesday    21 May                  2 - 5  o'clock                 Wellington

Cost                  

There is no cost for fluent Māori speakers. Participants should have experience translating from Māori to English

and English to Māori. Participants should have achieved level 4-5 of the LFE, a degree or provide a support letter

from their iwi.

Resources         

The TRM Homestudy Guide will be sent to you. It includes translation activities, exam papers from previous years,

examples of the quality of reo that is being sought, writing guidelines and other resources that should assist you.

Registration            

From 1 until 30 April 2008. TRM Home Study Guides will be sent to participants from the 1st May.

Those that seek to be tested for the Toi Reo Māori Certificate and have read the guidelines above
