Team Leader Language Planning
As the Team Leader Language Planning you are accountable for leading and managing the Language Planning Support Team. This team delivers language planning and resource services to meet the language planning needs of the public and private sector which underpins the effective implementation of Te Maihi Karauna, the Crown’s Māori Language Strategy. The Team Leader Language Planning will manage four direct reports.
Language Planning Advisor
As the Language Planning Advisor you are responsible for providing essential support to the Team Leader and Director of Language Planning to identify opportunities for the introduction or revitalization of te Reo Māori within the public sector and private sector through resource development and guidance in the development of language plans.
Procurement Advisor (part time 2-3 days a week)
As the Procurement Advisor you are accountable for implementing the procurement policy of Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori and providing strategic and tactical procurement direction, advice and support to business Ohu across the organisation.
You will be expected to manage all procurement life cycles, provide sound advice and support to the business throughout the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring procurements are sound, represent good value-for-money and align with the wider strategic objectives of Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori.
As the IT Specialist you are responsible for providing effective on-going support and development of the organisation’s IT strategy, annual IT plan and systems and support to the wider organisation.
Project Management Advisor
As the Project Management Advisor you will work directly with project teams to ensure deliverables are achieved within scope, timelines and budget. You will coordinate with Ohu (business units) to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and achieve the successful completion of each project.
As the Events Advisor you are responsible for providing essential support to Māori language revitalisation by providing logistical support to all promotional events of Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori.
As the Resource Advisor you are responsible for providing essential support to Māori language revitalisation through the development, testing and provision of quality resources to support promotional events managed by Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori.
Coordinator / Administrator
As the Coordinator / Administrator you are accountable for providing essential support services to the organisation.
